About This Journey
Nicknamed the "Little Serengeti," Mikumi National Park is rich with a wide range of wildlife. The park hosts a large number of the big game, covering four members of the African Big Five, with Rhinos being the only exception. Mikumi is home to large herds of Elephants, Buffaloes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Hyenas, Leopards, Lions, Sable Antelopes, Great Kudus, and many more. The chances of seeing tree-climbing lions in Mikumi National Park are higher than in the famous Lake Manyara National Park.
